Sinks

I wash my hands a few times a day. People have been doing the same for I am going to say 100 years since they invented the sink. Maybe its a thousand years but I don't feel like going to Wikipedia right now. It has been a long time and they still don't understand the basic principles of sink construction dynamics.

I just attempted to wash my hands in a beautiful marble basin but was stymied because the water nozzle was right up against the back of the sink. This necesitated putting my hands right up against the back wall of the sink, touching it. Who knows where that sink has been. There was at least 10-12 inches of sink into which the nozzle could have extended but it chose to protrude no more than 2 centimeters into the basin proper.

Needless to say it was quite vexing.
